Organizational Role:

• Direct sales and customer coordination for accounts within North America and other countries

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with little or no supervision
• Directs sales of company products and services
• Handles key company accounts and acts as an account manager for national or major accounts
• Develops sales and marketing strategies for current business and potential accounts within an established geographic territory
• Negotiates pricing and long-term supply contracts with customers
• Maintains computer database on current and prospective accounts
• Conducts seminars, trade shows and other marketing related events
• Maintains a high degree of understanding of all company products - and is knowledgeable of our competitor's products and services. Communicates all trends in sales or service to appropriate department
• Attends and participates in scientific & industrial conferences and exhibitions
• Responds to qualified sales leads by gathering and recording relevant prospect information, determining the prospect requirements, explaining benefits of our products to the prospects, and closing sales
• Alerts Marketing when new information is received from prospects or customers about issues or events within territory that may either present an opportunity or have a negative impact on a particular market
• Works effectively with team members and other departments to learn from one another and to achieve company goals and objectives
• Asks satisfied customers for testimonials

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Distribution
• Self-motivated, self-starter, and well organized
• Sales or work related experience in a business environment
• General knowledge or experience with MS Word and Excel
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
• Desire to work in results driven business

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-4 years minimum work experience in Software Solutions Sales, preferably Recognition Software sales
• University qualification in IT or a related discipline is an advantage
• Excellent multi-tasking, communication and proven track record in a highly competitive target driven environment

Vision/Image Processing Programmer (C++)

Organizational Role:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Writing software for custom applications to interface existing libraries and modules
• Research and development of algorithms for processing/analysis
• Selecting and development of unique optical components, and developing software to analyze and improve imaging results

Qualifications:

• B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline (M.S. preferred)
• Strong mathematics background and analytical skills (Physics-based mathematics a plus) and thorough understanding of mathematical modeling of results
• 3-5 years programming experience in C++ (Borland Builder C++ or Visual C++ preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Image Processing algorithms, Digital Signal Processing, Real-time computing and autonomous processing
• Experience in Matlab or Mathematica
• Interest in scientific application development
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or Engineering, Mathematics or Physics or a related discipline
• 2+ year industry experience and/or course work in digital signal processing, image processing, communications
• Familiarity with face recognition, speech recognition, fingerprinting, hand written character recognition, underwater acoustics or signal detection
• Experience with off the shell image processing libraries
• Experience with processing of three dimensional data sets (3D reconstruction, data visualization) would be an advantage
• Design and programming of Digital Electronics and DSP would be an advantage
• University qualification in Neurosciences or a related discipline would be an advantage
• Good formal presentation and proposal writing skills a plus
